Roadmap
Our philosophy at invoiced.ai is to be always improving. We are constantly considering new features and ideas to improve your experience. Below are our current plans to make your business accounting even easier. If you have additional ideas or requests, please feel free to contact us.
Q3 2025
New Transaction
A new "Sales Order" transaction type will be created in accounts receivable. Sales order will be an optional step between quotes and AR invoices.
You can either enter a sales order directly or convert a quote to a sales order. Sales orders can then be converted to invoices. You will also have the option to affect inventory levels when the sales order is completed rather than when the invoice is completed.
Q4 2025
Integrations
First-class integrations are planned with the following platforms:
Zapier
The integration with Zapier will allow you to perform many automated processes in combination with other services you use. For example, we plan to support importing products, transactions, and clients/vendors.
Shopify
Our integration with Shopify will allow you to easily sync customers and transactions with Invoiced.ai. Customers will be importable as clients, and Shopify orders can be imported as sales orders or invoices. You will also be able to sync inventory levels from Invoiced.ai to Shopify, allowing you to fully manage your inventory in Invoiced.ai.
Q1 2026
Custom Fields
Most transactions and records will support custom fields. For example, add an arrival date field to purchase orders or a contact name field to your clients/vendors.
Custom fields will be configurable within our already easy-to-use dashboard and we will continue to put ease of use as one of our top priorities.
Q2 2026
Signatures and Documents
When dealing with financial documents, it's important to have proof of your agreements. Quotes and AR invoices will have e-signatures available so you can require signatures from your clients before proceeding with order fulfillment.
All transactions will also support document attachments. Not only will you be able to attach documents and send them to clients/vendors, but you will also be able to require that clients view the attached documents before a quote or AR invoice can proceed. You may not want your client/vendor to be able to see all documents, so you will also be able to add private documents for internal use.
